The latest version of WordPress 3.0.2 has just been published and is now available to download from the download page for Worpress.org. This version 3.0.2 is a maintenance version that fixes some security issues and is an update recommended for all previous versions of WordPress.
Security patches including examine a number of bugs and make some additional security improvements.
You can download WordPress from the usual download page Worpress.org 3.0.2. Alternatively, you can automatically update of in the area of admin of WordPress by going to Dashboard > updates menu. One-click Update functionality is great and worked perfectly for me, although it is best practice to back up your database first.
